Landmarks in the United States
Pick 5 landmarks that you would like to learn more about. Find a landmark for each category:
■Man-made
■Natural
■Symbolic
■Historical (Does it represent the country in a special way, as the White House symbolizes the United States, for example?)
■Distinctively functional, or has a distinctive shape or color
Some landmarks will fall into more than one category.
You will research and write about these landmarks during your next computer lesson. All you need to bring in next week is a list of the landmarks you have chosen.
