Kindergarten Homework

Homework 04/27/10:

1.  Finish the last four lines of “V,v,V,v,V,v” in the handwriting book.

2. Math worksheet on identifying nickels.

** If you have not returned the trip permission slips and money, please do so by the end of the week.  The trip will be next Friday! Tomorrow will be the last day I can accept a check as I need to deposit them one week ahead of time.

Grade 5 Homework

1. Spelling- #17-25 5x’s. All workbook pages in the unit must be finished

2. Religion- finish your summary of the Prodigal Son. Make sure you also write about the lesson that the story teaches us.

3. Reading- finish reading Chapter 12- Write a journal entry from Peter’s point of view about his first battle.

4. Math- workbook page 117 #1-16 only

5. Pizza lunch

LIMITED SHARE RAFFLE DANCE

What a great night for St. Christopher School on Saturday!!  Thank you to Mrs. Scelzi, Mrs. Pommerenk, Mrs. Trimarchi, and Mrs. Giaccio for all their hard work!  Also, thank you to ALL our wonderful parents and parish community who, without your assistance the raffle tickets would not have sold as they did!  Your work, generosity, and enthusiasm for this event, and our school has led to a ten thousand dollar fundraising donation for our St. Christopher!!  Thank you!!

Grade 5 Homework

1. Spelling- #9-16 5x’s. All workbook pages in the unit should be finished by Wednesday.

2. Reading- Finish Chapter 11- Add vocabulary words. In your response journal, answer the following: Draw and write about how Narnia looked before Aslan’s arrival and after Aslan’s arrival. What are the reasons for these differences?

3. Math- Copy the kinds of triangles and their definitions on page 276 of your textbook. Complete #1-20 on pages 276-277
