Published by at 8:43 pm under Announcements

Catholic School Week started at Holy Rosary Church with mass today.  Mary Crowley from Grade 5 and Jordan Paredes from Grade 2 represented our school wonderfully!  Mathew Cordero and Robert Ford also came to show school spirit!  Thank you to the parents and students who attended this mass !

Monday 2/1   There is an Open House for parents/students interested in our school for September 2010,  from 9 – 11 a.m.  We are going to have a NEW 3 year old program for September, so spread the word!

Tuesday 2/2  8th grade Book and Bake sale!  Also Dress Down in GREEN for $2.00!  All proceeds go to Muscular Dystrophy!

Wednesday 2/3  Look for Mr. Thomas Delahanty, Deputy Inspector from the 122 Precinct, to be greeting our students in the morning as our Principal for a Day!  The Alumni is also sponsoring Career Day so you may see a dentist, librarian, nurse or a baseball player roaming the halls, alongside our 2nd graders who make this an annual event!

Thursday 2/4  $1.00 Dress Down in gym uniform, and Mr. Lou Tirone and the Korean Vets will be coming to speak to our 7th and 8th grades!  At 7:00 p.m. SHARP watch our undefeated faculty/staff play our 8th graders in volleyball, then watch the 8th grade play their parents!  The kitchen will be open! So come have a bite, and cheer for your favorite team!

Friday 2/5  9:00 a.m. Mass at Church hosted by our 6th grade.  It is Teacher Recognition Day, breakfast for our faculty will be provided by Our Lady’s Guild, and there will be an assembly.  Dismissal is at 12:00 p.m.  and it is Dine Out at TGIFriday’s for St. Christopher ALL DAY!  Support our school with this easy, fun, and delicious fundraiser!  There is also a 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Dance from 7:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.!

Thank you to all our parents for their support, and their sacrifice, in choosing to send their children to St. Christopher School.  We look forward to celebrating with our students during this week of  Catholic schools  and with those who make them such wonderful places of value-filled education!
