Spelling:how  town  down

Many thanks to all those who dined out in Perkins on Friday.  Our check totals were $991.45.  15% of that total will be coming back to St. Christopher’s. We will be receiving a check in the amount of $148.72 .  I have been told by the manager of Perkins that our night was the most successful of all the other schools thus far.  Thanks again for your participation and for helping our school.  Renee

Brick Pathway of Hope Fundraiser -2009

The Alumni Association is offering all graduates an opportunity to purchase their own personalized inscribed brick to be placed in the special school “Pathway”. As Alumni, this is a wonderful opportunity to leave a permanent legacy at St. Christopher’s while making a real difference for todays and future students.

In 1929 St. Christopher’s School was established by the Presentation Sisters. The classes were originally held in what we all now call the Community Center. The current School cornerstone is dated 1966. For 80 years St. Christopher’s School has provided a quality Catholic education filled with faith, values and knowledge. To commemorate this special occasion, a memorial walkway has been created in the front of the school. The first phase of the walkway completed last year raised over $40,000 for physical school improvements.

St. Christopher’s Alumni Association has now made a commitment to sponsor the Brick Walkway program in phase 2. Our support will provide scholarships, tuition assistance and educational tools to the students. The Alumni will directly manage this program working with the school. The result will be a stronger more competitive school attracting additional students. As Alumni, we should want to help preserve the special heritage of education and community for future generations begun by our parents at St. Christopher’s.

Come on Alumni! Create your own message/ names or choose one of the art designs on two different size bricks available. Let’s all join in by completing the form (link posted below). A Special Certificate will be mailed to you to give someone if purchasing the brick as a gift.
