Our annual Mother’s Day plant sale is quickly approaching. The sale will be held on Friday May 9th. We would like to have a “Special Gift Baskets’ to raffle, and are asking that each child send in $2.00 for a raffle ticket no later than Wednesday April 30th.

The raffle tickets will be sent home with each child who purchases them along with the price list of all plants that will be sold. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased on the day of the sale.

Please remember that our sale is strictly Non-Consignment. We must sell all of our inventory so please make all of your spring floral, vegetable and herb purchases here.

We have a wonderful supplier and all those who purchased last year know you will not be disappointed.

Fr Dennis Billy ‘67, graduate of St Christopher’s School & Alumni adviser recently met with Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican in Rome by invitation.

Fr Dennis is a leading professor of Moral Theology & Christian Spirituality at the Alphonsian Academy-affiliated with The Pontifical Lateran University in Rome . Fr Dennis along with other past St Christopher graduates have also taken a leading roll in forming the new St Christopher Alumni Assocation.

The first official All Graduate Reunion Weekend is Planned for Oct 11-12th in the Parish to kick off the Alumni Association.

We continue a tradition at St. Christopher’s School: Grandparents’/Special Persons’ Day. This is the day we honor grandparents or someone who fulfills the role of grandparent.

Date: – Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 9:15 A.M.

We need to know the number of persons who will be attending so that sufficient seating can be planned.

Once again, we will order carnations to present to your children’s grandparents or to their special persons. Each carnation will cost $1.50.

If someone will be attending, please fill out the tear-off at the bottom of the sheet sent home, or write the information on a note and send it to the school with Students name, grade, # of persons attending, # of flowers needed ( $1.50/flower) no later than Friday, April 25, 2008.

Please remember, parents are NOT permitted to attend.

School will be dismissed at 12:30 P.M. on Wednesday, April 30, 2008. If your child will be leaving with their grandparents or special person after the entertainment,m please send a note to your child’s teacher.

“Pizza Lunch” will be on Friday, April 25th, 2008. If you don’t have the note with the tear-off attached at home, please make sure you write your child’s preference on a piece of paper and send it in an envelope marked “Pizza Lunch”
