1. synthetic (man-made) fibers, which can be woven into curtains and carpets
2. Fertilizers – Pesticides
3. Detergents
4. Food additives
5. The color of most pen ink is the result of dyes. These dyes are made from petrochemicals
6. Rubber soles in shoes – Car tires are made from synthetic rubber
7. Compact discs and cassette tapes
8. All plastic products
9. Some medicines
10. Candles, milk cartons and polishes
